miller canning design began as a hobby while Miller was rehabbing after knee surgery. The hobby grew into a weekly women’s jewelry design group, until one day a gallery in Reston, Virginia asked if they could sell the jewelry. At that point, Miller realized she has a specific design perspective.
Many pieces have been auctioned off to help raise funds for education, heart disease, special needs children and homeless families. Miller has volunteered her time teaching girls to make simple designs so that they could raise their own funds for school trips. With her passion for education, Miller would like to donate a portion of her final sale on Etsy.com, as she makes her move to Mexico.
